Westscheme Enterprise Partnership (MWEP)
The Murdoch Westscheme Enterprise partnership has been developed to enable students and the University to commercialise their research and protect their intellectual property.
MWEP will be offering its internship program again for 2006/07. We are looking for postgrads with Business/Law/ Science backgrounds who are interested in the space of technology commercialization and Intellectual Property. The successful interns will be offered real world work experience, including:
Market analysis, IP analysis, technology analysis, client liaison and networking, investment proposal and business plan preparation.
The vocation is not paid, but interns will be provided office space, internet access (laptop, pc or mac) as well as other intangible benefits. Successful candidates will be required to sit for a certification assessment at the end of the program. The potential exists for paid casual and contractual work within MWEP following certification.
